Paal Paayasam

Ingredients

Vermicelli    -    200gms
Milk  -  500 ml
Ghee  -  2 1/2 tablespoons
Condensed milk  -  400g(1 tin Nestle Milkmaid)
Cardamom -  4-5 no:s
Cashew nuts &  Raisins  -  8-10 N:s
Sugar -  1/2 cup 
Water  -  4 cups
Boiled water - 8 cups   


Preparation

Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in a bottom heavy pan. Add the vermicelli to it and roast it till golden brown. Mix the milk with 4 cups of water and add it to the roasted vermicelli. Stir while adding the milk.Cook till the vermicelli is fully done. Take another vessel pour the condensed milk to it and mix it well with the hot, boiling water.Stir well while adding water. Pour this diluted condensed milk to the cooked vermicelli.Cook in a low flame. Stir in between. Add sugar and stir well.Add crushed cardamom and remove from fire.

Take another pan . Heat 1/2 tablespoons of ghee.Fry the cashew nuts. When it becomes golden brown add raisins.Add fried cashew nuts and raisins to the paayasam.Serve hot.

Note : If you want more creamier paayasam reduce the amount of water that is added to milk and condensed milk.
