Inji - Ulli kichadi

This recipe comes from my mom's cook book. I used to dislike this curry when I was a kid. My mom used to force me have this when I used to have gastric problems...
Hope that's a valid reason for my dislike...... :) Now you might think I have added something I dont like for you all to try out.... Not really......Its like  " moothavar chollum muthu nellikka aadhyam kaikkum pinnee madhurikkum ". So it has started getting sweetter and sweetter.....  ;)


  1. Ginger - 1 small (finely chopped)
  2. Shallots(Small onion) - 10 No:s(finely chopped)
  3. Green chilly - 2 No:s(chopped)
  4. Curd - 1/2 - 1 cup
  5. Salt

How to make

Mix ginger,shallots,greenchilly and salt well. Keep aside for 10 mins. Add curd, mix well and serve.

Goes well with rice.
